Mercedes-Benz has partnered with the makers of the Avatar films to create the Mercedes-Benz VISION AVTR, an advanced vehicle transformation concept. Inspired by the film, the VISION AVTR embodies new interactions between human, machine, and nature, highlighting the need for a sustainable future. The vehicle runs sustainably using zero emissions and uses graphene-based organic cell technology free of rare and toxic elements. It has a 435-mile range and conducts charging in just 15 minutes, with compostable and recyclable components. The VISION AVTR's interior features dynamic interior contours and light strips that take on elements of nature, while the exterior is a tangible dialogue between luxury and sustainability. The concept car made its world premiere at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 6, 2020.
