Mounir Alwan's film "Ghalian" wins the Grand Prize at the Benguerir Film Festival

The film "Ghalian" by Moroccan director Mounir Alwan won the Grand Prize at the 10th edition of the Benguerir Film Festival, held between December 19 and 22. The Best Director Award went to Moroccan director Saad El Idrissi for his film “Al-Jidaria”, the Jury Award went to the film “Ashes” by director Suleiman Al-Khalili from the Sultanate of Oman, the Best Male Role Award went to actor Abdul Qayyum Ashaimat, and the Best Female Role went to actress Fatima Zahra Ahrar in the Moroccan film “The Unknown Road”, while the Moroccan film “Dakat Zaman” by director Mehdi Alami and actor Haitham Al-Maawali received the Jury’s Commendation.
