In 80 hours and 35 minutes, Marrakech enters the Guinness Book of Records for the longest continuous storytelling session

Jemaa el-Fna Square in Marrakech witnessed a unique event, as storytellers managed to set a world record for the longest continuous session in the art of storytelling, as part of the activities of the third edition of the Marrakech International Storytelling Festival. The participants were able to present narrative performances that lasted for 80 hours and 35 minutes without interruption, thus breaking the previous record and entering the Guinness Book of Records. According to the organizers, the event was a celebration of the art of storytelling, an integral part of Marrakesh culture, and the festival was organized in partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Office.
