Distinguished participation of Morocco in the 29th session of the African Film and Television Festival in Ouagadougou

Some 235 films in all categories from dozens of countries, including Morocco, have been selected for the official competition of the 29th edition of the Pan-African Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO), scheduled to be held from February 22nd to March 1st. According to the organizers, Morocco will participate in this major African cinematic event, which is held every two years, in the “documentary films” category, with the film “Everybody Loves Touda” by director Nabil Ayouch, and in the “feature documentaries” category with the film “White Lies” by director Asmaa El Madar. In the “FESPACO Short Film Competition” category, Morocco will be represented by the documentary “Assassination” by Yacine Ait Fakir, and by the film “Blue Marja” by Daoud Ouled Sayed in the “Critics Week Competition” category, “Soca B” section. ...
