Maverick City Music’s Joe Barnes to perform in Kigali

Renowned American gospel singer Joe L Barnes, best known for leading Maverick City Music’s hit track “Promises,” is set to perform in Kigali on February 23. He will headline the Young and Chosen concert which will take place at Christian Life Assembly (CLA) Church in Nyarutarama. A Kentucky native, Barnes is a talented songwriter and worship leader at The Shepherd's Tent in Covington, Georgia. His visit to Rwanda will feature a collaboration with Nigerian singer-songwriter and rapper Limoblaze. According to Marumbo Sichinga, one of the concert organisers, Young and Chosen is a concept inspired by Limoblaze’s recent album. ...
