23rd NAMA nominees release date set

Organisers of the 23rd National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) ceremony will officially unveil nominees on Wednesday, thereby ending weeks of anticipation. Following the excitement generated around this year’s edition, which is scheduled for Harare on March 31, event organisers have promised numerous surprises. The National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ), in partnership with the Jacaranda Culture and Media Corporation (JCMC), is behind the awards ceremony. NACZ communications and marketing manager Agga Nyabinde confirmed the developments. “The nominees for the 23rd NAMAs will be announced on February 12 at 10:00am on Facebook (@NAMASZim) and YouTube (NAMAs),” he said. “We will announce the venue along with the nominees.” As part of the festivities, Nyabinde assured fans that they will be treated to an exciting awards ceremony.
