Channel 2M revealed that on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, millions of viewers chose to follow the programmes it offers, which once again confirms its role as a media outlet that meets the expectations of all its viewers. A statement from the second channel explained that during the first day of Ramadan, at peak time, it acquired 36 percent of the viewership share, and 30 percent throughout the entire day, highlighting that the channel gathered its audience during the Iftar period around innovative national productions that varied between drama and comedy. The same source added that more than 12,235,000 viewers watched the sitcom "Mabrouk Alaina", while the drama series "Al Dam Al Mashrouk" attracted about 10,536,000 viewers, and the series "Al Sharqi Wal Gharbi" a total of 9,224,000 viewers.
