Kapeke argues against releasing music albums, stating the approach is outdated

Fast-rising singer Kapeke, born Nsubuga Derrick has rubbished the traditional idea of artists releasing studio albums and Extended Plays (EP) saying it is old-fashioned and only done by senior/aged artists. Instead, the 25-year-old star notes that he is concentrating on releasing his singles to build his catalog. Kapeke, who has already been trending with several hit songs, believes that the idea of albums is outdated and doesn’t make sense. He tagged it to artists from the past, listing A Pass as an example of artists who take pride in dropping studio albums. “EPs and Albums are for old people; people like A Pass because I was in primary two when he released ‘Mariana’ which means he is very old.
