Ali Nuhu Mohammed, often called the "King of Kannywood," is a well-known Nigerian actor, director, and producer celebrated for his work in both Hausa-language (Kannywood) and English-language (Nollywood) films. He was born in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria, but grew up in Kano. Nuhu earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Jos. With a career that spans more than two decades, he has appeared in over 500 films.
