Kid Sebastiao Manuel, known as Kid MC or MC de Raiz, is an Angolan rapper and composer. Born in Huila, he experienced the civil war in his country. Kid MC is considered one of the biggest revelations of Angolan hip-hop in recent years and is admired by veterans. He rose to fame in 2008 with his first album Caminhos, signed by Mad Tapes Entertainment. Kid MC is often referred to as the David Ze of hip-hop, attracting young teenagers and warning the public about his music.
