Alapini Osa, a Yoruba actor with over five decades of experience, gained fame for his roles as 'babalawo'. He trained under filmmakers Akin Ogungbe and Ray Eyiwunmi. In an interview with Saturday PUNCH, Alapini revealed that he often plays herbalists in movies due to his proficiency in these roles. His paternal grandmother and father are traditionalists, and he enjoys the traditional aspects of his movies, despite not making a career out of it.
