In 1992, Kool Klever co-founded the group GC Unity (Ghetto & City Unity) alongside Prince Wadada and Gangsta Du. This group was among the pioneers of rap in Angola, notably being the first to have Portuguese-language rap songs broadcast on local radio. Following the departure of his group members to Portugal, Klever pursued a solo career, collaborating with various artists and contributing his songwriting talents to prominent Angolan musicians, including SSP and Bruna Tatiana.
